Client sessions have deepened…not only over the years, but each time I work with someone. It’s an extra special thing to witness women growing and unlocking level after level of comfortability and familiarity with one’s self.
Mimi and I have shot together once before. When I asked her what her vision was and how she wanted to be photographed this time around, she told me she was feeling a draw to raw and honest, with no makeup and no wardrobe…completely natural. She came to the right place.
Presence over poses, Mimi rocked her wet hair and fresh face with a fierce kind of stillness that I felt the whole tine I was photographing her.
