“It’s a wild woman”
“You captured my new essence... my free & wild that I’ve been becoming.”
Goosebumps in droves, I sat on a ZOOM call with A in preparation for her mentorship weekend in Milan with me. She described who she’s blossoming into this chapter, and the pull she’s felt towards celebrating a more primal femininity in her life and her photography. Channeling the “wild woman”, if you will.
I only accept mentorships with photographers that I am confident that I can help, and who are on fire and ready to make moves. A was all of these things, and, on a more personal level, I really liked her energy. I knew that our time together would be deeply impactful.
The very best way for photographers to melt into this learning and evolving experience is to start out with their own photoshoot with me. There’s nothing quite like the butterflies and the exercise in releasing control that being in front of the camera brings to those who are usually behind it.
A was very clear on the parts of her personality she wished to see represented in photos, and I was very clear on the simple and organic method in which I’d capture that.
She closed her eyes and swayed, she sat with herself, she beamed like the sun, she tossed her hair and laughed, she felt her skin, she sank to the floor, she danced in a blur. It was all extraordinarily organic and exactly what it should have been. We enjoyed 90 minutes of beautiful play and the images are 100% her…through and through.
In the afterglow of the shoot, we spent the next day and a half deep diving into her business practices, her client experience, and her art. She left with a fresh new outlook on her business and a plan of action to evolve her work into something extra special that embodies her philosophies and creative soul.
I am BEAMING with pride and awe over A’s openness and growth. It’s these kinds of soul-hugging interactions that reiterate that women who know themselves and can celebrate themselves are infinitely powerful beings.

There are no words to truly express my gratitude for you in this moment.
As I reflect on these past two days, I see how deeply they’ve been a journey inside myself. Not just into my business, but into myself and the beginning of a new voice within me.
You helped me give form to everything my mind has been trying to process over this past year. All the changes I’ve embraced have shaped me, and then you appeared to align my voice with my soul’s mission and my business.
Thank you for helping me gain clarity. Thank you for allowing me to know you. Thank you for capturing my truest essence. Thank you for making a beautiful dream come true. For so much…thank you.
I leave with a full heart and the curiosity to embrace all these changes, so I can serve others from an even more aligned and powerful place.
Definitely one of the most meaningful experiences I’ve ever had.
