Melting into the trees

She’s melting into the trees…or maybe the trees are melting into her. Either way, I am inspired by how these double exposures of K blur the divide between her physical form and the forest.

To meet her is to be impressed by her mindfulness, comforted by her sweet spirit, and proud of her resilience story. Like the forest, she is undeniably ROOTED. ENDURING. GROWING.

She mentioned on several occasions how at peace she felt there in the Italian Dolomites— the mountains called to her. I knew I wanted to create something special for her so she could feel that blissful calm every time she looked at the photos.

It was an absolute honor to organically capture K. What a beautiful human. I never take for granted how special it is to be trusted to really SEE people like this…and to freeze a real time version of them in the form of forever images.
