SHE’S IN THERE…

Some days we have to do a little digging to uncover the more emboldened versions of ourselves that feel alive while dancing around naked. Some seasons are harder to emerge from than others.

The beautiful thing that I’ve witnessed in working closely with thousands of introspective women is: every year that passes brings a deeper sense of knowing, making it easier to identify when we’re “out of sorts”, and making our comebacks so much more potent; a reunion between two best friends; a deep relieved sigh that says“it’s good to be back”.

Many of my clients are returning to me over and over, documenting each chapter in a way that feels aligned with their current self. I feel great honor to be able to meet each version of her that steps in front of my camera…100% of the time, I am SO PROUD of her growth.

Typically someone’s first photo shoot experience is a nudge…a surface level celebration of self. It gives permission. It builds confidence. Each experience, uncovering a deeper layer.

That is the case with B, here, darling woman. Our first shoot years ago was light and giggly, I remember my face being sore from smiling. This time was more confident, more bold, more mature, more certain. Still a delight, still loads of smiling, but with a bit of mysticism that only shows itself when someone knows their worth.
