Based in Como, Italy since 2021, renowned American photographer Kara Marie Trombetta has curated the dream package for photography lovers visiting Lago di Como, Italia.
Your journey unfolds in three parts: a private portrait session in the comfort of your hotel room, an elegant lakeside lunch for 2, and an unforgettable boat tour with your travel companion as the entire day is artfully documented by Kara Marie.

PART I
PRIVATE PHOTO SESSION for one
Start the day with an artistic 1:1 photoshoot curation. Renowned American photographer Kara Marie Trombetta will come to your hotel or villa accommodations for an en suite portrait session in her signature style that marries fine art with intimate portraiture.
PART II
LAKESIDE LUNCH FOR 2
After your photo shoot experience, you’ll be escorted by boat to a leisurely lakeside lunch where you’ll enjoy exquisite views, local cuisine, and regional wine with your travel companion.

PRIVATE BOAT TOUR with documentary style photos
The only thing more memorable than a boat tour of arguably one of the most beautiful lakes in the world, is the photos that you’ll have to look back on.
Part One: Private Portrait Session with Kara Marie
Your Dolce Vita experience begins in the intimate setting of your own Lake Como accommodations. Whether you’re staying at a historic villa, local hotel, or Airbnb rental, Kara Marie will come to you to create soulful intimate portraits with a fine art appeal. This relaxed, empowering session is expertly designed to celebrate your persona and unique beauty as naturally as you’re comfortable.
For around 1.5 hours, you will be gently guided by a seasoned professional whose entire career has been founded in five-star customer service while working with women to help them feel their most confident and at ease in front of her camera. You’ll feel as though you’re casually chatting with a friend while being coached through natural poses and elegant compositions. While Kara Marie’s specialization is of the fine art nude variety, many clients prefer to bring special lingerie or favorite clothing items to incorporate for some or all of the session.
Your keepsake from this portion of the day will be an impactful curation of artful figure details, intimate portraits, and striking silhouettes presented in a handcrafted 8x11” Italian leather fine art album with a crystal cover featuring 30 carefully curated images, along with the matching web-resolution digital collection.
Part TWO: Lakeside Lunch FOR TWO
After your portrait session, you (and your travel companion, if you choose) will be whisked away by boat to a lakeside restaurant, where Kara Marie will treat you to a leisurely Italian lunch.
Choose between elegant multi-course dining, or casual comfort where, either way, you will indulge in locally inspired cuisine and regional wine, while soaking in the jaw-dropping scenery of one of the most beautiful lakes on the planet.
Part III: Private boat tour with documentary-style photographs
Following lunch, you’ll step back on board the “Bada Bing”, captained by none other than Kara Marie’s husband Joey, for a dreamy tour of Lake Como’s iconic villas, hidden gems, and gorgeous waters. See the sights, sunbathe, sip prosecco, and even take a swim— all while having your day effortlessly documented in a candid editorial style that allows you to stay present and enjoy the ride.
This 4 hour captained boat tour on a vintage Italian boat will be fully customized based on your preferences, and the keepsake from this portion of your day will be a collection of magazine worthy yet social media friendly images to share and remember what is sure to be a core memory.

Yes, pending availability, we are happy to accommodate this package divided between two dates.

Any standard accommodations, as long as there is at least some window light, will be perfectly acceptable as a portrait session location. There is no need to book an extravagant suite unless you prefer it for your comfort.

The Dolce Vita experience is a relatively full day, starting with a 10am in-room private photo shoot experience, and wrapping up around 6pm ( pending the length of the lunch service).

Pick-up and drop off by boat is possible on the western basin of Lake Como at a number of public docks and hotels with boat access. Upon booking, we will determine where the closest access will be to your accommodations and make a plan.
